Rally Cap / Grand Slam
An entry level program intended to create a fun environment in which children and adults are actively engaged together in the game of baseball. Develop fundamental motor skills, teach baseball skills, and basic rules to our players.
11U to 18U Recreational
Whether you’re new to baseball or a seasoned player, we have a place for you in our rec division. At the recreational level we focus on developing on-field skills like pitching, hitting, fielding and baseball strategy. Our volunteer coaches begin the season with a pre-season skills evaluation followed by the formation of evenly balance teams. Each team will play games throughout the summer while also attending practices to develop their skills.
11U to 18U Competitve
In the competitive stream we focus on developing on-field skills like pitching, hitting, fielding and baseball strategy. Our volunteer coaches begin the season with a pre-season skills evaluation. The team will compete in a provincial schedule against other teams of similar playing level. This division is targeted for players that want to commit more to the game and compete at a higher level while still focusing on player development. There will need to be a strong commitment of attendance for all practices and games from all players and coaches to ensure that the season runs smoothly and that players get the most out of the season.
15U – At this level players will begin to identify specific positions of interest on the field as well as develop some of the finer skills within the game.
18U – This is our highest level of competitive play in which winning becomes more of a priority.
Players and coaches at this level work together to identify potential opportunities for players beyond Western Valley Minor Baseball.
